The application gives users a place to store files of any type. Project tasks can be created and assigned to tea members. When the task is complete, WorkMate sends the user a notification. Users can set up a project right away and visit the Add-on Store anytime they want to add more tools and functions to the application if needed.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

WorkMate was designed and developed by CreaDroid. The application was designed to give users a simple way to manage projects, tasks and team members. The current version includes a wide range of features however it has not yet caught on. For the most part WorkMate has gone unnoticed. That may change as more users try the service and spread the word. For the time being, WorkMate offers helpful services for users handling projects and teams.

What are the differences to other apps?

WorkMate offers many features that are found in other, similar applications. In terms of basic function, the application really doesn’t innovate. What makes WorkMate so unique is the interface and way it presents each feature. The design helps maximize the user experience by utilizing simple, easily accessible buttons that give the user instant access to various tools. The ability to pick and choose add-ons from the Add-on Store is another nice benefit that lets users customize their experience to their professional needs.

How does the web app look and feel to use?

WorkMate offers users a design that can help optimize productivity. The interface isn’t overly fancy or colorful, but provides a clean, clear workspace for the user. Each visual element is placed to maximize the user’s ability to streamline the project management process. WorkMate may not use cutting edge graphics, but it does offer a user friendly experience.

How does the registration process work?

A new user can create a WorkMate account by clicking the “Sign Up” link in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The registration form appears at the center of the next page. The user can begin creating projects right away. An email confirmation is requested but not required to log in for the first time.

All new users can create a WorkMate account for free. There are no subscription fees and the user receives unlimited access to all basic features.
